Was there a particular ‘Sliding Doors’ moment that shaped your career?
I cannot think of a Sliding door moment that shaped my career but there have been several highlights along the way working with high-profile clientele and property developers that has certainly helped propel my career to where I am today.
Tell us about the business you run/work for today?
My business partner and I have evolved from bespoke furniture makers and interior designers. We identified an opportunity to fill a niche in the market for a showroom that showcases luxury bespoke furniture in elegant room sets and that was the birth of House of Interiors, we designed and opened a luxury 5,000sq L showroom in the Brookfield Centre in Cheshunt. We offer a personable interior design service alongside highly skilled tradespeople from the build upwards as well as manufacturing our own products in-house from bespoke sofas, beds, made to measure window treatments to dining tables, lighting and high-end accessories to name a few.
What do you enjoy most about your day to day work?
I love the variety of my work, one day I am at a client’s home scheming designs looking through a varied range of fabrics, colours ,textures and finishes, the next day I could be in the showroom and workshop designing and bringing new bespoke designs to life or I could be at a Interior Design show gaining inspiration and sourcing the latest trends.
I also love building relationships with my clients and understanding what they want from their home, interpreting their desires and finally seeing the life-changing transformation of the home and seeing how excited and happy our client’s are!
Out of work, where or when are you happiest?
Spending time with my family and friends, going to lovely restaurants and definitely on the beach with a large cocktail in my hand!
How do you ensure a work/life balance?
I am lucky enough to be in a job I absolutely love so I enjoy going to work but I do think it is important to make time for family and friends and to keep myself fit and healthy by going to the gym regularly and walking with my dog, Ralph, as all are a great way to unwind!
Where do you live and what do you love about it?
I live in Woodford Green, I think it is lovely as it has a village atmosphere whilst being very close to Central London. I also love the abundance of lovely local cafes, restaurants and pubs as well independent shops all being surrounded by lots of forest and greenery.
If you could go back in time and offer yourself one piece of advice, what would it be?
To follow your passion because it’s much easier to work hard at something you love. To believe in yourself and persevere because if you want something enough then it will happen. It doesn’t matter how good you are at something, you still need to put the hard work in.

On the night, Yield Gallery exhibited HoI exclusive artwork from world-famous artists Banksy, Richard Hambleton, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. While the HoI team also unveiled a new collection, with new luxury furniture items added to their stunning showroom.
Georgina, Founder of House of Interiors, said: “We were thrilled to see so many friendly and new faces at our fifth-anniversary celebration. It was a pleasure to meet the Mayor of Broxbourne, and we would like to say a big thank you to Yield Gallery for sharing their beautiful artwork with us on the night. Since the pandemic, it’s been a difficult period, but the business has grown and gone from strength to strength, and we look forward to the next five years!”
Based in Hertfordshire, they are well-known for their bespoke and luxurious furnishings. They have designed furnishings for big-time reality stars such as Joey Essex, Megan McKenna, and renowned DJ Jonas Blue all across the country.
Over 60 guests attended on the night, and anyone who RSVP’d to the event was entered into an exclusive prize draw to win luxury prizes. Some lucky winners won a 10% discount on their next interior design, a beautiful Baobab candle, a free interior design service with Georgina and a bespoke, luxury chaise lounge.
